At 804 Real Estate, LLC - we are not the real estate firm that brings every agent possible on board simply because they have a pulse along with a real estate license.  There are certain criteria that we are looking for in REALTORS that join our firm.  

Agents that interview with our firm will be expected to present a business plan on how they plan on succeeding in real estate and are going to be expected to work towards this plan.  This plan will include the area of real estate they wish to specialize in (ex:  first time buyer representation, historical home representation, estates, etc.) along with a detailed explanation on how they wish to target this particular market.    

In addition - we are looking for agents that have certain criteria/characteristics.  Some of those criteria include the following...

AGENTS we are looking for:

-  EXPERIENCED - at least 15 closed transactions - preferably in the past 12 months.  

-  At least 1-2 years of experience selling real estate.

-  Basic knowledge of writing offers, compiling paperwork, etc.

-  Ability to work virtually as well as in-person.

-  A business plan working in a specialization in real estate. 

-  Self-starter is a MUST!

-  Team-player.

AGENTS we are NOT looking for:

-  Someone that needs to be micro-managed by being told exactly what to do/when to do it, etc.

-  New agents getting into the business.

-  New agents that are doing real estate as a "side" business.

-  Constant complainer/"Know-it-all" attitude/un-coachable.

-  Needs broker-provided leads to feed their business.

This is a MUST in this business!  90% of agents who get into real estate fail within the first two years.  You must be willing to start yourself and willing to keep yourself busy.  If you are not a self starter - you will not succeed as a REALTOR....period!

We offer an abundance of training here at 804 Real Estate, LLC .  You have to be open to being trained, open to constructive criticism and have the ability to change - as this business is constantly evolving.  Being a fast learner is a must - and you must be able to pick up on training/concepts quickly.  As a REALTOR - you can't be a REALTOR who has let the business "pass you by".

Real estate is not an 8-5 Monday-Friday job.  This is a career that requires hard work, heavy amounts of dedication, long hours that include weekends, evenings, etc.  When you work as a REALTOR - you are building a business - and you must have that entrepreneurial mindset of such along with the willingness to put in the work needed.

Check your attitude at the door!  In this business, you are going to encounter great people - and you will encounter people that are nasty, rude, mean, etc.  In addition, there will be certain situations that you work hard at - only to fail.  You have to be able to overcome those situations.  Certain situations will be difficult to deal with - and you are going to be expected to work through those difficult situations as a professional to get the best possible result for the client.  Clients are counting on you - that's why they hired you in the first place.
